INTRODUCTION

The Neo Black Movement of Africa also called the NBM of Africa is a registered Pan Africanist Organization with the intention to engage efforts, provide resources and envisage ideas that are capable of reviving the struggle for Africa full freedom and resuscitating Africa cultures and traditions; this organization no doubt has now become a forerunner of the aspirations of ancient Pan Africanists like Kwame Nkrumah, Thomas Sankara, Robert Sobukwe and others too numerous to mention. The NBM of Africa as a Pan African Organization was founded on the 16th day of October, 1977 by nine (9) individual Nigerians who were undergraduate students at the University of Benin, Benin-City, Nigeria. The aspirations of the NBM of Africa geared towards Africa full freedom which is likened to the aspirations of ancient Pan African heroes that later consumed their lives has now made the NBM of Africa a threat to the imperialists and thus facing incessant challenges; these challenges put forward by the imperialists are well planned and are meant not to only hinder the progress of the NBM of Africa but to eliminate the NBM of Africa as they did to the ancient Pan Africanists. The imperialists that no longer use force or violence in achieving their aims have now engaged some players or agents that make use of propaganda and other means to bring down the NBM of Africa; this article will address three of those agents or players of imperialism:

1. British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC)
2. Linda Ikeji Blog
3. Malicious Authors/writers

BRITISH BROADCASTING CORPORATION (BBC)

The BBC was established by the British Royal Government on the 18th of October 1922 though earlier called British Broadcasting Company; since its establishment, it has been serving the needs of the British Royal Government. The British Government as one of the erstwhile Africa colonizers can be said to be unhappy with their departure from Africa; they long to return and continue their colonization and this time they are back not in physical forms but mental forms. They have now engaged all their strategies including the BBC to foster their plans; the BBC as part of fulfilling the mandate of the imperialist established the BBC Africa Eye in April, 2018.

The BBC propose that BBC Africa Eye will promote the culture of investigative journalism across Africa and strengthen the skills of African investigative journalists; though this was the public conception but their real intent is to bastardize, defame and outlaw the potentials of Africa and her people. This is evident in the recent documentaries that are aimed at tarnishing the image of prominent Africans and their organizations; the interview cum documentary on the TB Joshua ministries speaks volume on how desperate they are to bring down promising supporting institutions in Africa. It could be recalled that they earlier published a documentary on the NBM of Africa with a false tag “Black Axe: Nigeria’s Mafia Cult“; they shifted attention from unveiling factual truth about the “Black Axe Cult Group” whom the public still explores for their identity and vested interest in tarnishing the image of a Pan Africanist organization “NBM of Africa”.

The BBC Africa Eye engaged the leaders of the NBM of Africa in an hour plus interview but could only avail 3mins content of the 1hr plus interview; It is glaring their intentions are destructive than salvaging; they are not happy with the growth of promising institutions in Africa and they are ready to invest their resources to pull them down. LINDA IKEJI BLOG

The Linda Ikeji Blog owned by Linda Ikeji and established in 2006 is no doubt one of the players or contracted agents of imperialism to bring down Pan Africanist institutions in Africa; through the Linda Ikeji Blog she has ventured in several attacks on Pan Africanist institutions and individuals. The Wikipedia of Linda Ikeji availed some of her controversial messages cum blackmail; it revealed that the Linda Ikeji Blog made controversial posts on celebrities such as Funke Akindele, Richard Mofe Damijo, Djimon Honsou, Wizkid and Tonto Dikeh. It also availed that the Linda Ikeji Blog made controversial publications about a Nigerian politician Doyin Okupe; Doyin Okupe described the publications as defamatory.

The false dissemination of informations leading to defamation of characters resulted to the shutting down of the Linda Ikeji Blog on the 8th day of October 2014; though it was later restored on the 10th day of October 2014 around midnight by Google for undisclosed reasons.

Consequently, the Wikipedia of Linda Ikeji revealed that in 2018, the online editor for the Punch Newspaper, John Abayomi, threatened to file a lawsuit against Ikeji for untrue story about him being the owner of instablog9ja. He also claimed the publication puts his life and that of his family in danger.

Furthermore, the false attestations by the Linda Ikeji Blog also led the NBM of Africa filing a legal suit against the Linda Ikeji Blog for defamation and trying to link the NBM of Africa to the faceless Black Axe Group; though the case has been awarded to the NBM of Africa and she was fined #30,000,000, she still persists to satisfy the demands of the imperialists

MALICIOUS AUTHORS/WRITERS

The Africa society is no doubt plagued with poverty and this has made most Africans engaged available means to survive; the pacing rate of poverty in Africa had made the imperialists experience progress in their aspirations to bring down Pan Africa institutions. The dearth of income from books published, articles written and journals established have made most authors, writers and scholars engage in malicious writings and publications just to earn their living. The imperialists have employed the services of independent authors and writers to join the spread of the malicious nexus of the NBM of Africa to the faceless, dreaded and criminal Black Axe Group. These authors/writers such as Matthew La Lime, Sean Williams, Gbolahan Peter Macjob, Christian Putsch amongst others envisaged false attestations to what the NBM of Africa posits and have subsequently spread same to the ignorant populace because of their dying quest to earn a living, fame and undeserved power. WHY THE BLACKMAIL AND DENIGRATION AGAINST THE NBM OF AFRICA PERSISTS

The NBM of Africa as a Pan African Organization had faced and still facing series of malicious blackmails and denigration from paid agents or players of imperialism for the following reasons:

1. The name Black which is a fear factor right from the early years of Pan Africanism exists in the Neo Black Movement of Africa; and this had, has and will continue to create fear cum threat to the existence of the imperialists
2. The persuasive tendencies of the NBM of Africa to resuscitate Africa dying culture and traditions and the counter-tag of our cultures as demonic elicits a threat to the plans of the imperialists to extinct our cultures and traditions
3. The consistency of the NBM of Africa to uphold the principles of Pan Africanism and adherence to the beliefs of Ubuntu that apparently upholds the principle of unity in Africa contradicts the imperialists plan to keep Africans in constant division/disunity
4. The relentless zeal of the NBM of Africa to uphold the virtues of Social Justice and Equality/Equity for All is no doubt a bane to the imperialists plan of promoting inequality and injustice across the world
5. The observed growing strength of the membership of the NBM of Africa has no doubt become a worry for the imperialists; they have never in the entire history witnessed a Pan African Organization with such strength of membership and this is a problem to them

CONCLUSION

It is therefore imperative to note the grave influence of some of the detractors (BBC, Linda Ikeji Blog, malicious authors/writers) on Africa, her people and the struggle for Africa full freedom.
