Lagos airport saw a quieter landing than expected when NDLEA officials intercepted Adrienne Munju, a 41-year-old Canadian, attempting to smuggle a substantial quantity of ‘Canadian Loud’—a premium cannabis variant.
Instead of its intended hush-hush delivery, the potent package raised alarms, landing both Munju and her cargo in custody.
The NDLEA acted swiftly, ensuring the contraband’s relocation to a different storage—far from its intended destination. Munju’s travel plans have since hit an unexpected and legal roadblock.
