Algeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, has recently arrived in Abuja, Nigeria, onboard a Gulfstream 4 aircraft with registration 7T-VPS.
He is scheduled to visit Benin and Ghana as well, in order to engage in discussions “on the crisis in Niger and ways of dealing with it, by contributing to a political solution”

This follows a disagreement that happened yesterday between Algeria and France, where the former announced its refusal to allow French military aircraft to fly over its airspace “to carry out a military operation in Niger,” according to Algerian radio.
However, the French Ministry of Defense denied making such request.
