Something is happening in Niamtougou, Togo. After yesterday’s visit by Niger’s Air Force, the Burkinabe Air Force C295 (reg. XT-MBH | #09CD45) landed there a few moments ago. The Togo presidential aircraft that was present yesterday there has not left.

Now, a “Global Jet Luxembourg” charter Dassault Falcon 900B (reg. LX-FFL | #4D0202) from Lomé via Niamtougou landed in Niamey. It’s now parked at the presidential / VIP terminal.

Yesterday, TOWN CRIER reported that the presidential aircraft of Togo with registration number LX-LTI departed for Niamtougou Air Base. Later, a Dornier 228 aircraft belonging to the Niger Air Force, with registration number 5U-MBI, also landed at the same location.

It is worth mentioning that this particular aircraft had previously transported the CNSP delegation to Bamako a few days ago.

Given the recent events, there have been discussions and speculations about the possibility of neutral ground negotiations taking place.
