Nigerian TikToker, Ego Okoye, has been given a two-year prison sentence for making defamatory statements about actress Eniola Badmus.
Ego’s TikTok video, which gained widespread attention a few weeks ago, accused Badmus of being involved in the illegal activity of supplying prostitutes to politicians.
Subsequently, Ego issued an apology, stating that she was promised a payment of two hundred thousand Naira to defame the actress.
