Protests have erupted in various parts of Nigeria, including Lagos, Bayelsa, Kano, and Kwara, as workers and youth voice their dissatisfaction with the recent increase in petrol pump prices and school fees imposed across public universities by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led administration.

Demonstrators are demanding that the administration reverse the hikes, expressing their strong opposition to the current measures.

They march with banner with the following inscriptions: END FUEL PRICE INCREASE! FIX LOCAL REFINERIES!! STOP NAIRA DEVALUATION!!! PAY LIVING WAGE AND SUPPORT INFORMAL WORKERS!!! LET POOR NIGERIANS BREATHE!!!
