SAD TO RECEIVE THE NEWS OF THE PASSING-ON OF ‘CHE’ CHRIS MATLHAKO!
Very sad news indeed to read of the demise of one of the African finest, unassuming and totally dedicated revolutionaries, Comrade Chris Matlahako, who from the account of Sister Lefika passed on yesterday, April 20, 2023, after a period of sickness!

Comrade Chris would forever be remembered by the Nigerian delegation for his invaluable role at the 5th African Continental Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba in Namibia in June 2017 where Nigeria got the approval to host the 6th Meeting in 2019!

So sad to have lost our amiable soft-spoken and decisive comrade at this period, in which Cuba just had a successful re-election of President Canel Diaz in the last 24hrs!

To comrade Chris glory, he was at the 6th African Meeting of Solidarity in Abuja-Nigeria and played a highly resourceful role that contributed immensely to the successful hosting of the event!

On behalf of the Nigeria Movement of Solidarity with Cuba, we express our deep heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of our Pan-Africanist brother – Chris Matlahako – and to all comrades and friends with whom we all share revolutionary love and affections!

In Comrade Chris we have lost a great internarionalist of the highest hue! Adieu Chris! And long live Internationationalism!
